The Seers is comprised of a series of one-hundred collage drawings created through images sourced from historic books in the digital library of the Internet Archive. Imagery is inspired by the work of Hélène Cixous and Carolee Schneemann around their interest in the creative process, and mysticism often centered in the figure of the cat. The accumulated works create a personal symbolic language, and esoteric taxonomy rendered through the form of the scrapbook where images are repeated and reconfigured like poetic texts.
